Mike Sullivan was born in Topeka, Kansas, in July of 1960 to Wayne and Rubye Sullivan. Mike was always interested in art and it was his older (half)sister, Vonnie, who taught him to color inside the lines. Even at an early age, he knew he wanted to do some kind of comic. He loved Peanuts and Dennis the Menace in the newspaper and paperback books. It wasn't until later that he found comic books at the local grocery. Finding issue #107 of The Fantastic Four began a life-long obsession. Mike owns too many long boxes filled with other people's comics. Finally, Mike has ventured to create his own book.
